The Season 1 digivices(all version), season 2 digivices(all versions), Season 3 digivices(all versions), and season 4 digivices(all versions) are all STRICTLY quest based, with NO "v-pet caring needs" involved with them. (This is basically also just a v-pet)Īnd the D-Spirits are a v-pet also with a quest game, as well as having a data-base on all of the digimon, just the the Analyzer/Digiwindow/d-terminal/d-gather. (This is basically just a v-pet)ĭ-Gather is an updated D-terminal, only this one was made for season 3. (They're also only $20, where as the pen x's are like $100's lol)ĭ-Terminal is like the Digimon Analyzer/DigiWindow, only it was made with the D-3's to match the anime. The shells look different too, where the D-Cyber looks like a flip phone. It has a few minor features, but the quest and v-pet things are all still the same. The D-cyber is basically an english version of the Pendulum X's. The Pendulum Cycle is a v-pet care for game. It's just more "up-to-date" on it's digimon and it can connect with the LED ic/burst digivices. The DigiWindow is the same thing as an Analyzer from what i've heard. The Digimon Analyzer is also a mix of v-pet and quest based, but it's more like a bunch of mini games then quests. there are some interesting modes on this one, but I don't think there's anything "quest related".

The Digivice iC/Burst are the first "Digivices" from an anime series to have BOTH a v-pet and quest mode, only they don't need to be shaken/they dont have a pendulum.(well the burst doesnt anyways im sure the ic's are the same way. I don't have one so I don't know much about the quest mode, sorry.

The Digimon Accels have a Quest mode, but are also v-pets. It's an option in training mode, where you basically go on a quest to fight 100 digimon. The Pendulum X, this is MOSTLY a care for v-pet, HOWEVER! It is the first v-pet to ALSO have a quest mode on it. These ones however have a more interesting training mode. This is basically the same thing as the Pendulums with some minor differences and all different digimon, but also only v-pets that need to be taken care of. These are also only v-pets that can be raised. There's the next in line is the Pendulum series, where the shaking started. Then there are mini versions on there, a total of 3, they are the same things only in a smaller form. Hello ^_^ The original Digimon toys(the first v-pets, also called, d-1's) are only pets, they need to be taken care of constantly. I was looking at other Digivices and I know Neos are quest based and based on the season 1s, but what else is quest based? I was also looking at the D-Terminal/D-Gather, but I'm confused if they're pet-based or quest based or what they are exactly.

That's why I love my Pokewalkers for my HG/SS since I don't have to feed, battle, etc, and why I like the version 1 Digivice and the D3. Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros.I can't seem to find a good solid comprehensive guide on what vpet does what, so I guess I'll just ask.Ĭan someone give me a list of what Digimon vpets are strictly raising and a complete list of ones that are strictly quest based? I ask because I have a busy life and a fast-paced job where I can't stop and feed a Digimon that's crying out for food.Mario VS Donkey Kong ( Nintendo e-Reader).
